WAREHOUSE 2IC

Our client is currently seeking a well presented and experienced Warehouse 2IC to assist and lead outstanding operational performance within their existing local team.

The Role:

• Reporting to the warehouse manager
• Leading and mentoring a small warehouse team
• Managing inbound, inventory, or outbound workflows
• Assisting general warehousing tasks:
  • Unloading deliveries from trucks,
  • Checking shipments against delivery notes,
  • Inspecting goods for damage,
  • Inventory management,
  • Following safety procedures.
• Assisting in the assembly of office furniture
• Maintaining a clean, safe and compliant warehouse environment.
• Build and maintain strong and enduring relationships with clients, customers and suppliers

Criteria:

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar leading/supervisor role with leading teams within warehouse, DC, or Logistics environments
• Previous furniture assembly & use of basic hand tools
• Have strong computer and literacy skills
• Hold strong people leadership and coaching capabilities
• Great team player and people skills
• Have great communication & Problem-solving skills
• C Class Licence minimum
• National Police Clearance
• Physically fit & Strong work ethic
